Good Extreme Snowy Night.....

I can't sleep.....must be 'shoveling snow anxiety'. There's at least 12" out there. How beautiful it will all look in the morning. My 1st plan for the day is a hot bowl of oatmeal & some shoveling. I'm sure there will be no knitting group today.

See you all in a little while....Love & Prayers.........Kathy

Good morning Kathy and those that follow.
We had some snow yesterday morning and then a little every now and then during the day. Yesterday I got my quilt without directions layered and ready to quilt. I don't know if much will get done today tho. I have my Pfaff machine class today. I am off to find another cup of coffee. Have a wonderful day.

Kathy - have a great day. I don't sleep well when we are supposed to get snow either.

Good Snowy Day....no Sun yet......

Well Mother Nature sure delivered! We have about 14". It is stuck to everything. I'll aim for 9am to start shoveling. Now I'll fold laundry.

Suzette......have fun with your class. When I bought my Pfaff I had to choose between the sale price or the classes....odd.

Lois......Congratulations!!! You never know in time Melissa might change her mind.

Love & Prayers...........Kathy

Good Morning All

Like you Northern friends I have snow.....lol....well some fell and my vehicles are covered......but it is spotty on the ground. Kathy, be careful shoveling, you folks up there have had more than your share..

This has been a busy week so far and no fun or fabric involved. Double duty barn chores and errands that pop up have kept me running.

Hoping that today is the day that I get in my sewing studio but not taking bets on it, lol.

Thinking of everyone with prayers for those in need.

Good morning to everyone.

Lois- Congrats for your son and Melissa. Not a sewer BUT can she brew coffee and maybe bake? Were you surprised?

Kathy- 14 inches is a horror to shovel. A big bowl of oatmeal always helped me get ready to shovel when we lived on Long Island.

To all who have been shovelling PLEASE take breaks in between. Don't over-do it.

Prayers for those in need.

Lea- How are you feeling? Any new kitties stories, they always make me smile.

I'll check in later

Good morning!

Kathy - yuck to 14" of snow. Hope the sun is out when you're back up.

Suzette - have a wonderful time at your class.

Lois - congratulations to your son and Melissa! That is wonderful news.

Joyce - fingers crossed for you that today is the day for sewing. Double duty - hope that ends soon.

Izzy - glad you got some coffee until the real stuff showed up.

Becca - be careful running your errands - hope you can stay warm.

Diane - good to see you.

Judi - I have that same anxiety! I bet you're glad most of the unpacking is done.

Sure wish we could get some snow. We're in severe drought conditions and it's going to be in the 60s the rest of the week. Yesterday DH had his nuclear test - he had to breath in some nuclear stuff and then get some injected and tons of x-rays. I checked to see if he glowed last night - nope! Today we're meeting his bro and wife for lunch and then who knows. Have a wonderful and blessed day. xoxo Sharona

Good morning all! Just a quick stop in today. Didn't go to Urgent Care yesterday. Tuesday got better and Wednesday felt great. I am making an appointment today to just go see my doctor anyway. I am beginning to think may-be my asthma medicine needs to be adjusted. Staying in today, because very cold and windy.

Hope to get some more uglies done and more work on my quilt project. Well better go get some breakfast for Smoke and me and get dressed. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning Girls

Baby, it's COLD outside! 10* !!! But at least we don't have snow!

Kathy... You so have my sympathy for 14 inches of the white stuff!! YUK... Please do just take it easy on the shoveling! A little bit at a time.

Sherry... .Good to hear your are feeling so much better!

Sharon....No glowing from DH. Kind of too bad, at least you'd have been able to see him in the dark! I'd sure take your 60's instead of 10*

Judi... Ah yes, measure twice---cut once! What color way are you doing your kit?

Lois... CONGRATULATIONS to your son and Fiancé! Any date set? So fun to plan a wedding and so much easier to be Mother of the Groom! I never thought my Jen would want to sew, but eventually she came around! there may be hope for Melissa!

Joyce... Hoping your niece's foot heals up quickly! That could make more time for you to get in your sewing studio! I suppose you'll be even busier with horses in the spring and summer.

Izzy... UGH NO COFFEE!!!! How sweet for your son to bring you some! Coffee and TP--two things I make sure I never run out of! It's always on the grocery list!

Becca.... Yeah for melted snow! I think it will be a while before ours is all gone, I so can't wait to see green grass again. Even though it will mean hauling out the tractor to mow!

Diane.... did you ever find your "Kitchen box" I looked, I don't have it here!

Maryz.... Just in case you stop by, know that Albert is in all our thoughts and prayers today.

think I might get out of the house today. My little Elna is all fixed up, so I think I'll go pick her up. Going to stop at Hobby Lobby (NO I am not going to buy anymore fabric--unless I spot some white Kona--almost out) I've been having fun embroidering while I watch TV at night, so am thinking about getting some supplies and maybe trying a little "Red work" blocks. I have looked HI and LOW for the envelope of iron on transfers I KNOW I have, but St. Anthony has been no help. As soon as I go buy another pack, I'll find them--Murphy's law. Yesterday I got about 13 Swap blocks done for Lori's swap, so I set them aside for now until/if I need more. Maybe when I get home I'll sandwich and pin another top I have and see how far I can get on quilting it.

Now that I've had a few cups of coffee... I'm raring to go!

God morning!

Michael finished moving around all my sewing area - on the computer first, then after that, moved the actual pieces. Works wonderfully! Now I just have to put a few items back in their proper home. Michael makes sure everything fits right on the computer, shows me, then does the heavy moving - he hates to rearrange, me not like my idea and then have to put it all back.

Stu came home last night for Spring Break. A couple of days early to be a techie on Sarah's production this weekend. He loves working with all the sound equipment and does a great job. Ethan is on cloud nine now that brother is home.

Sewing a bit later - Kate brought me the pad for the bassinet to make a couple of covers. Simple pillowcase style, should take me longer to cut out than sew. Still hanging in there for our little Lila.

Beautiful sunny day here, it is heading East.

Ktns OMG Wed/ me open door to let them inside well 2 returned right away and long fur took longer that means he is in trouble. I call him my mommy.. well he came smelling like a manure pile, soggy soggy paper toilette hanging from his butt and his hind led cut slightly just above the paw. OMG gross looking he was.. Be still my heart.

the other did his barfing in his corner of house.. My mind tried to imagine who could have harmed such beautiful cats and what dumped them in garbage?

He limped me tried to wipe him and kept him behind for a day.. seem to be doing better today..

The other 2 went out today for brief and older one returned with that same smell of 1st one.. No injury.. So if I walk down street will recognize that smell so strong a stench.

If something suspicious goes on will take me no time to report some residents intentionally harming animals.. But can't think that way until sure..

Well they will be around me for few days and go out less/less.
