How cool is that! Great job.

Did you put sand in the weighted part?

What a beauty!~ I love it. Mine doesn't have a place for notions. I too am interested in what you put into the pincushion to weight it so that it stays in place. Mine has sand in it. I really love your colors!!! Great job!

Thank you everyone for your compliments! :-)

In the pattern, they suggest to put "poly pellets". I didn't have any. Since I'm a crafty person, meaning doing all kinds of hobbies, I have a large ziplock full of pistachio's nutshells. LOL that's what I put in the pincushion. Also on the back, I have sewn by hand a piece of ... hummmmm... now how do you call that in English... argggg... you know the thing there?? ROFLOL it's sold in a roll, it's kind of rubbery and it prevents to slip?? a ruber mesh shelf liner? something like that... <<giggling>> I can't believe sometimes I'm searching for easy words. :-)

They say a picture is worth 1000 words. Here's a picture! LOL

I love it. I want one now too lol.

I am not sure that stuff has a name, I bet it does but I have no idea what it is. We just call it "that gripper stuff"
