Quilt in a Day Retail E-Mail Oct. 29 - Nov .5, 2009

Dear Friends,

This is the time of year when my staff starts setting my calendar for the new year, which is just around the corner. I am planning to offer a Certified Teacher’s Training Class in January and again in June, the first one in 4 years. Also in January I will be in Ontario, CA for the Road to California show. March finds me in my home state of Pennsylvania for the AQS Show in Lancaster. In April, join me for my Sewing School and free stage show in Paducah, KY. There are so many places to go and so much to do but I love every minute of it.

I guess I better stop thinking of next year and buckle down to what is left of this year and the upcoming holidays. I admit that this week I didn’t get much work done on my Christmas list. I have been busy working on a video for my book “Quick Trip Quilts” and that takes up a lot of my day. By evening, I am too tired to sew but stay with me, I know I will plow through and get things done, I always do.

Eleanor Burns offers Certified Teacher’s Training Classes

Quilt in a Day offers a Teacher Certification class for enthusiasts that want to teach Quilt in a Day techniques in local classrooms or guilds around the US and abroad. You do not need to be a certified teacher to teach any of Eleanor Burns' methods but the class will walk you through her specialized techniques, giving you more experience and confidence. The best part is that it is taught by Eleanor Burns in her San Marcos location. Class size is limited to a maximum of 24 students to assure one on one attention.

Camp Cedar Glen Annual Fall Retreat

It’s almost here and we still have a few openings for the Fall Retreat up in Julian, California. There are two sessions for the Retreat.
Session 1 - November 9th to the 12th; Session 2 - November 12th to the 15th. You can attend one or both Sessions. Highlights of Camp this year are:
