Camp Cedar Glen is located in the Laguna Mountains of San Diego County, at the base of Volcan Wilderness Preserve. The surrounding scenery is spectacular, and the town of Julian is a quaint place to visit on your way up to the retreat. Days are usually warm, and nights are cool. Our accommodations are comfortable, with rustic bunkhouse lodging, 4 to 8 bunks to a room; meals are tasty and filling. Teachers will be on site to help guide you through the steps of making your quilt. We have plenty of room to sew and tables to lay our quilt tops out for finishing. Even if you’ve never made a quilt before, this is the weekend for you! So come and relax and go home with a brand new quilt!
Your $385.00 Fee includes: 3 nights lodging, 9 Meals, instruction, fellowship and relaxation.
Additional Expenses:
Purchase prior to camp, fabric to complete a quilt top, Batting and Instruction book at Quilt in a Day.
We do have a limited number of Elna sewing machines available to rent @ $25.00 per session. Please reserve in advance to guarantee a machine for your use.
You can contact the Quilt in a Day Retail Store if you wish to purchase a book or other quilting supplies you may need for camp or should you have questions regarding our retreat.
Cancellations made after 11/1/13 will be refunded, less the deposit, only if the space is filled.
