I got my tote in the mail yesterday and it's beautiful!!!! Thank you Wanda B.!! Also, thanks for the other little bag - what a handy little sack!! This was so much fun, both making a bag for someone and wondering what I'd receive. Janie

My pal's tote is packaged and addressed...didn't get to to post office today. We're covered in ice so it will be Wednesday before I can get it mailed.

I love the tote, the purples do sparkle. Will have to hide it from one of my daughters , to bad for her.
Also the check cover it so clever, and yes I plan to take them both plus tissue cover to Paducah.

Was not planning on going due to $$$$ today, but my DH said I was going no matter what. He said I need one weekend for myself and with the bestest friends I had made here in QIAD. Wish I could meet you too. Maybe one day. Thank You again, I do love it very much.
Hint, yep go grab more of the fab fabric.

delivery scheduled :)
she (Susanna) has seen photos since it will be delivered late in person...she missed the first delivery trial. Eleanor has seen it and said "Wow you made that which made me feel wonderful! I made it out of oilcloth so she can take it on road trips to Paducah!

OH BOY OH BOY!!! I received my tote!!!! Poor Maggiestew had me TWICE!!! Once for January Secret Pal and for TOTE swap.

She sent me the cutest tote in red roses with black and it is SO CUTE!! I just love IT!!! It's PERFECT size for taking lunch to work or for using as a purse!!! It's just darling!! AND she tucked in a big bar of CHOCOLATE!!! which I tore into right away! and some little black gloves---perfect to keep my fingers warm!

Thank you SO MUCH Maggie!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

Maryq I'm glad you liked your tote. There's a story behind how it went together:) Can't believe it made it there in just a couple of days.

Michelle it is quite okay that I had Maryq for both. She was a joy to make a tote for. After all she's my "Pal" LOL.

Majik47, I am glad you like it. I really enjoyed putting it together & hope it works okay for you. I was starting to get worried that it was lost in the mail. I sent it out middle of last week. I tried to get a label off the internet, but it didn't recognize your address so I ended taking it to the PO. I took pictures, but some how I managed to loose them. Could you post a pic so that I could put it in my files???

I put my tote in the mail today and my friend should receive it by Saturday! I can not believe I got all that accomplished!! It was mailed north of me. I will apologize in advance for being late, my brother passed away unexpectedly, and his funeral was this past Saturday in Danville Arkansas, we have had to make several trips there which is an 8 hour drive from way down here in South Central Texas. So please accept my reasons for not being so prompt...

majik47 THANK-YOU!!! I will post a photo of this wonderful tote tomorrow. I love the outdoors and love to camp this will be a perfect tote to pack a lunch in for picnics. I plan on taking it to Yosemite with me filled with my books and a project to work on in the car. I also love that it isn't girly so my husband will carry it too :)
