In just 4 classes, we will teach you the basics of strip quilting. Our Beginning Quilt Classes provide the basic skills required to sew a quilt with our quick and easy techniques. Skilled Quilt in a Day instructors will guide you through the process and answer all your questions. Recommended Beginning Quilt books are as follow: Log Cabin, Rail Fence, Quick Trip, Winning Hand, Still Stripping or Bears in the Woods.

This is a great follow-up class to take after you have completed the Beginning Quilting Class. Learn the skills needed to make flying geese patches, half-square triangles and our painless technique for appliqué. Recommended Special Technique books are as follow: A Star for All Seasons, Flying Geese, Wild Goose Chase, Delectable Mountains, Still Stripping, It’s “El”ementary or Town Square Sampler.

Antique Sewing Collectible Roadshow

Enjoy a couple of hours with Donna & Shirley of Country Lore Designs from Mossoula, Montana. They will entertain you with history of vintage sewing notions such as singer glass oil bottles, needle cases, pin cushions, thimbles, vintage sewing boxes & cards, toy sewing machines, spool cabinets--to name a few.
Their vast collection goes back to the late 1800's. Bring a sewinh collectible such as a pin cushion, spool of thread, or other sewing treasures you might have found in your mother's or grandmother's treadle machine or sewing box, for show n' tell. Guaranteed to be a fun-filled time.

Learn to embellish your quilting or wardrobe with heat-set Swarovski crystals. They are simple to apply with an applicator wand and they look great. You will also learn to apply crystals using your own designs or purchased designs on Mylar sheets and your household iron.
Hope for Hartford

Join LuAnn in recreating history with this beautiful quilt that pays homage to the town of Hartford CT, which was saved during the war effort in the 1940's. Using partial seaming along with our 61/2" Triangle Square-up Ruler, this quilt comes together with ease. The ribbon border is just a repeat of a patch within the Block. It's just "charming!"
