I have been working on my Block of the Month (BOM) for 2010 and it is a doozy! I am 64 years old and have more fabric stashed than I can ever use! So, I decided to turn over a new leaf for the new decade and use up some of my scraps!
Each month I will have a different quilt pattern, using 2 1/2" Strips (Jelly Rolls), 1 1/2" Strips (Honey Buns), 10" Squares (Layer Cakes), 5" Squares (Charms) or some scraps I have piling up in my sewing room.
This is going to be fun, all of us sewing and using up our mountains of scraps! For beginning quilters, fabric selection will be easy, the majority of the projects will be scrappy quilts – just use what you have or buy a pre-cut package, like a Jelly Roll or Layer Cake.
This is how it works, every month you will receive a full color pattern booklet with the design and technique for that month. An online demonstration for that month will be available to watch free on our media theater. By year end, you will have 12 patterns that you can use over and over again to make pretty quilts! Let your imagination soar as we sew each quilt!

Block Party meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month. Patterns will be mailed to US members within the week following Block Party. Foreign members will receive each month’s pattern via email with a PDF attachment. The taping will generally be available in our Media Theater by the end of each week.
Notice: Membership in Eleanor’s On-Line Block Party will be pro-rated for members who decide to quit and request a refund. The 12-month cost of $84.00 (which is charged upon registration) equates to $7.00 per month. Members who quit will receive a refund for the remaining months of patterns they have not received.
THIS ONLINE BLOCK PARTY IS SEPARATE FROM OUR IN STORE BLOCK PARTY. CUSTOMERS ATTENDING ELEANOR'S BLOCK PARTY MUST COME IN TO THE STORE TO REGISTER.
